Can you believe that it is the first day of school already?!?! My baby is on her way to her first day of 8th grade. She claims she isn't excited but how can you not. She picked out her clothes last night, got her bag all set up and had trouble sleeping. All this for not being excited.Good luck Peanut on the first day of your last year of middle school. I love you!

She looks great! Lucky she's not in Mobile, even public schools have to wear uniforms now. Takes a lot of personality out of your closet, but I guess it keeps everyone equal. You'll have to let us know how the first day went.
Does she ride to bus to school... or are you in walking distance?
She had a great first day - favorite class is art (big surprise there). She is currently doing homework as I type... poor baby.. LOL.
She rides the bus but she has to be there by 7 am or she will miss it all together even though school doesn't start until 7:45.
I can't believe little Dani is SO tall! She looks just beautiful!
