This is what Sami's big girl room looks like now. We had our first night in our new toddler bed that I bought yesterday. Needless to say it went over like a fart in church! She didn't understand where "her bed" was even though the mattress and comforter are the ones from her crib. I sat in here with her for over an hour. When I finally decided she was used to everything and left the room, she screamed like a banchee!! I came back up and rocked her for about ten minutes until she fell asleep and then I placed her in her Princess bed. She didn't fall asleep until well after 9 pm.Hopefully tonight she will sleep better.

Yeah, it's really sweet. I just wished that she liked it better. I guess it was just because it was new and different. She will be fine in a couple of days.
I set up both beds so when she decides that she is "too big" for the toddler bed I can just take it out and replace the spot with a table and chairs.
So it seems that you did get your way after all and she's got herself a little princess bed!

Yeah, but she sure fought it! It wasn't about not really getting my way - it was the inability to find the bed. Thank goodness for Toys R Us!
