100 Acre Personality Quiz

Happy Birthday Dani!

My baby turned 14 this Saturday - can you believe it? She had two lovely little girls and one obnoxious one spend the night on Friday.
Saturday morning they went home, I let one stay a little later since I really like her. She is a sweet and well tempered girl - a joy to have around really - so I called her mother and asked if she could stay until supper. Then we had our family party and rushed out after to spend her B.A.M. gift card because goodness knows it was burning a hole in her pocket!!

Note to others: When having a sleep over with teenagers, limit the guest list to two because any more than that and someone feels left out and then becomes a raging arse to the rest of the group.
Birthday girl/Hostess and two other girls... that is it, trust me.

When did the braces come off? It's amazing... they seem to age three years, when the braces come off!

The photos are wonderful, and it looks like everyone had a great time. I can't believe I have a friend who's old enough to have a fourteen year old child! Good grief, she will be driving this time next year! Can you handle that?

No she won't... I do not have the patience to teach her... and she is not focused enough to pay attention so we will have to wait... at least as it stands right now.

Strange thing just happened when I tried to post the previous comment... I could hear people talking... a male and female voice. He was speaking a foreign language and she was counting... how strange is that?

What is JC? And what foreigners are outside your house counting?

Retook John Cusack test - it appears I have changed characters... I am in a Rob kind of mood - I love that movie... must watch later on tonight after work.

"I gave her my heart and she gave me a pen" - fabulous!!

Opps... Lloyd, not Rob - three different JC movies running through my brain that I was wondering if I had... I need a nap.

Jim Court: You're not a permanent part of her life. You're a distraction.
Lloyd Dobler: I'm the distraction that's going with her to England, sir.
Pretty classic too... I love that movie... as you know, we saw it together, ran into Scott Gibbons on the way in, and I totally had a Lloyd moment!

Oh yeah!! I had forgotten that part... we were such a gaggle of goobers back then ~ but goober or not, it was fabulous.

Tell you what, I would not have been able to survive my first year there if it wasn't for you, Keryn and sweet little Tracy.
