Meet Santa

This is the newest member of the family, Santa. You see, I went out today to find a scrapbooking store that I pass every night on my way home. I kept thinking that I should stop in there and now that I have time, I actually went... only to find that it is out of business! I guess I should have gone sooner.

Since we were on Little Road and not far from Starbucks naturally I had to swing by for my seasonal favorite, Peppermint Mocha... mmmmm. Dani asked if we could go to PetSmart since it was right next door. I said sure and the girls had fun ~ Sami watching all the real dogs and squealling "Puppy" and Dani looking at the birds trying to figure out how to draw them.

We toddled over by the fish section and Sami used her new word to convince Mom-E that this would be a good thing. How can you refuse that cute little face along with the voice that says "Fshishy"... obviously you can't because downstairs on the counter in the sun room is our new "fshishy" which she named Santa. Yes, Santa but it was close tie with "Cookie" so I am happy that Santa won out.

So welcome Santa as he joins our family this holiday season and hopefully lives to see many more. Sissy's job is to keep him alive, mine was to buy it and Monster's is to adore it... I think we have it covered.

Be good poppets until I return.

Cleaning

Sami's new favorite game is mopping the floor... she mops for a bit and then pets the mop... she mops for a bit and then pets the mop... don't you love it when chores are games and not, well, chores!
Maybe soon I can get her to go up to my room and find all the joy there is to find in dusting! She could get all the low stuff and Dani could get all the high stuff. How long do you think that will last before they figure out I have put them to work and they start demanding money?

Flowers from Jacq!

My best friend in the entire world sent me flowers for my birthday! How sweet was that?!?! I heard the possessed doorbell ring (it does it all the time and no one is there so we rarely answer it but I heard a truck a few seconds earlier) and outside was a big ol' box from FedEx. I read the label and it was for me!! Not only were they pink but they were Gerbera Daisies, my favorite!!

Thank you, Jacque!!

The Ellusive Teenager...

I went on a safari to find the ellusive but much talked about teenager. There is rumor that one lives in this house. The apparently spend the majority of their time locked in their rooms with music blaring. Most have complained of horrible thumping music, risque clothing and strange holes in odd body parts... I am thinking that this one is of a higher breed.

It is often times locked in it's room, yes... but the music that blares out of it is either country or Broadway showtunes. The favorite hobby is drawing; either in the computer program Paint (antient to say the least) or with pen and pencil. There are no strange pearcings and the clothing, well as you can see it is just plain cute. It is confirmed, this is the best child in the teenage age bracket in the universe.

Sami and My Birthday Cake

Sami is the cutest thing and even though the cat attacked her (don't ask because I don't know... all I know is she has four scratches on her leg and it wasn't her fault) she still found time to celebrate! My uncle taught her earlier this month to run her hands through her hair and pull it straight up... see the cake!!
She is such a mess but she loved getting cleaned up even better - I have the soaking wet shirt to prove it! Yep, this is the best future two year old on the planet... just look at that face, that beautiful face.

The Last Little Bit...

Alright - 3 more and I am all caught up on my "Days of Christmas" wallpaper present to everyone. I was going to write a really cheesy poem but I just can't think of one at the moment. Enjoy the paper and I will more than likely write more later on, especially if I can't sleep.

Love you and be good poppets til I return.

Apology Continued

Apparently you can only post five images at a time with this program... will work on learning HTML and web design so I can be a 'mini MK' but for right now, on with the show... and it is officially my birthday - I heard the clock chime midnight... good thing I'm not Cinderella!!

So Sorry...

I know it has been forever since I have posted anything. Between my bronchitis/allergies/asthma kicking my ass and working 70 hours a week at my part-time job I have been a bit run down. So, by the time I get this uploaded it will be my 34th birthday and in honor of such a momentous occassion I have decided to post a wallpaper for each day I have missed!

Happy downloading and I promise to get better, minus my upcoming vacation to Disney with my best friend but other than that I will be good - I swear!!

Happy Birthday to Me!
